The National Abandoned Infants Assistance Resource Center’s mission is to enhance the quality of social and health services delivered to children who are abandoned or at risk of abandonment due to the presence of drugs and/or HIV in the family. Since 1991, the National AIA Resource Center has provided training, information, support and resources to service providers who assist these children and their families. The Resource Center, a member of the Training and Technical Assistance Network, is a service of the Children’s Bureau.
